About the event22nd Wharton India Economic Forum: Diversify. Disrupt. Deliver. The Mumbai conference will also play host to the finals of Wharton India Startup Challenge (WISC), targeting the next generation of business leaders. Dabbling with ideas to diversify governance and human capital, identify trends that will disrupt industry through innovation, and discuss how to deliver impact to society. From policy to media, to academia, to industry, we bring together India's top leaders under one roof to discuss today's most exciting opportunities and pressing issues. This year's slate of speakers promises to be one of our best ever.
The purpose of the conference is to promote constructive dialogue on circumstances shaping the current business landscape in India and discuss how diverse sectors of the industry can be harnessed jointly to create a positive change. WIEF aims to provide a platform for collaboration between academics and students from diverse backgrounds (including Wharton MBAs, Penn Law, Penn Design and Penn Engineering) with professionals from Finance, Consulting, Policy, Economics, Entrepreneurship and Media & Entertainment industries.
